# Creating an org

Any user may create a new organization, subject to the 5-org limit per company. Financial defaults for the new org are automatically pre-populated with the values configured by the first org created for your company.

  <Step title="Open the Org Switcher">
    Click the org name in the top-left of the sidebar to open the org switcher dropdown.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select &#x22;Create a new organization&#x22;">
    Click this option from the dropdown to begin the setup wizard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete the Organization details">
    Enter your Organization Name, then click **Continue**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review Financial Defaults, Structure, and Initiative steps">
    The remaining steps of the wizard allow you to configure financial defaults and initial structure. Financial values will be pre-filled from your company's primary org.

  **Org limit**<br />Companies are limited to 5 organizations. If the option to create a new org is unavailable, your company has reached this limit.
