# Comments & History

The **Comments** tab provides a simple threaded discussion system for each initiative. Team members can add comments, use `@mentions` to notify colleagues, and apply basic text formatting. Click **Post Comment** to publish.

  **Required role for comments**<br />**Super Admin**, **Admin,** and **Contributor** can create, edit, and delete comments. **Viewer** can read comments but cannot post or edit them.

The **History** panel (accessible via the **History** button in the top-right of any initiative) provides a full audit trail of all changes made to the initiative, including scenario updates, benefit and cost saves, approval events, and the original creation record. Each entry shows the action taken, who performed it, and a timestamp.

  **Required role for history**<br />All roles can view the history log. Only **Super Admin** and **Admin** can manage (edit) history entries.
