# Portfolios

A **portfolio** groups related products and provides a consolidated view of their initiatives and financial performance. Portfolios follow a similar tab structure as the org level (Overview, Details, Access, Products, and Initiatives), with all content scoped specifically to that portfolio.

## **Details**

The **Details** tab allows you to update your portfolio's display name and description.

## Creating a portfolio

    Click **Create** to save.

  **Required role**<br />Only **Super Admin** and **Admin** may create or delete portfolios.
</Note>

You can also create a portfolio using the overflow menu in the Org level of the tree in the sidebar.

## Access

The **Access** tab on any portfolio page controls which users have access to that portfolio and all its nested products and initiatives. Users added here gain implicit access and permissions to all items within the portfolio.

Access can be managed by Super Admin, Admin, and Portfolio Contributor. Note that users who already have implicit access via their system role (e.g., Super Admin) cannot be removed from the access list.
