# Notifications

ValueMap includes a built-in notification system to keep you informed of activity relevant to your work. The notification bell icon in the top-right corner of the interface displays an unread count badge when new notifications are available.

Click the bell to open the Notifications panel. Notifications are organized into three tabs:

| Tabs         | Notes                                                                                                              |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **All**      | All notifications in one consolidated view.                                                                        |
| **Mentions** | Notifications where you were `@mentioned` in a comment.                                                            |
| **Actions**  | Notifications triggered by actions on your initiatives (e.g., approval decisions, initiatives returned for edits). |

Click **View** on any notification to navigate directly to the relevant initiative. Click **Dismiss all** to clear all unread notifications.
