Every level of the hierarchy (Organization, Portfolio, Product, and Initiative) includes an interactive analysis chart that provides a visual summary of financial performance. The chart and accompanying data table update in real time based on the filters you apply. Required role All roles - Super Admin, Admin, Contributor, and Viewer - can view analysis charts. The data displayed is scoped to what each user has access to: a user who only has access to one portfolio will only see data for that portfolio’s initiatives.

View by (Org, Portfolio, and Product levels)

At the org, portfolio, and product levels, use the View by dropdown to segment the chart. Available options depend on the level you are viewing:
OptionsNotes
By portfolioAvailable at the org level. Aggregates data by portfolio.
By productAvailable at the org and portfolio levels. Aggregates data by product.
By themeAvailable at all higher levels. Aggregates data by strategic theme.
By initiativeAvailable at all higher levels. Shows individual initiative values.
When viewing by portfolio, product, or theme, the available Metric options are Net and Benefit & Cost. When viewing by initiative, an additional option of NPV vs IRR is available. You can also choose from the following Projection options: Estimated, Realized, and Forecasted.

Initiative-level analysis

At the initiative level, the analysis chart offers additional granularity. The following controls are available:
ControlsNotes
Time ScaleSwitch between Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly views.
MetricChoose from Net, Benefits, Costs, or IRR.
ProjectionToggle between Estimated, Realized, and Forecasted values.
AccumulationSwitch between Periodic (per-period values) and Cumulative (running total).
Below the chart, a full data table shows the breakdown for each period. Each row represents a month, and the month label represents the end of that month. For example, “April” means the value as of the end of April. If a month contains both a Start (in advance) and an End (in arrears) object, the table will show two rows for that month, labelled Start and End respectively. This is because the discount factor differs depending on whether a cash flow lands at the beginning or end of the month. Expanding each row shows the specific benefit or cost objects that belong to that timing. Clicking on any object navigates directly to it. Note: To see realized values in the analysis table, set the Projection dropdown to Realized. The amounts you log in the Actuals tab are non-PV adjusted - the present value adjustment happens automatically behind the scenes, and you can see the PV-adjusted result in the metric cards, chart, and table by selecting Realized as the projection. At higher levels (org, portfolio, product), clicking on an initiative in the table navigates to that initiative’s detail page.
