ValueMap supports deletion of portfolios, products, and initiatives. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The permissions required and the method for deleting differ by item type.
From the Cases → Portfolios tab, hover over the portfolio card and click the ⋯ menu, then select Delete. Only Super Admin and Admin users may delete a portfolio.Deleting a portfolio will also delete all products and initiatives nested within it. This action cannot be undone.
From the Cases → Products tab, hover over the product card and click the ⋯ menu, then select Delete. Only Portfolio Contributor, Admin, and Super Admin users may delete a product.Deleting a product will also delete all initiatives nested within it.
Open the initiative and click the ⋯ menu in the top-right, then select Delete. Contributors may only delete initiatives they personally created, and only while the initiative is in Draft status. Admins and Super Admins may delete any initiative regardless of status.Consider Archiving an initiative instead of deleting it if you want to retain the historical record. Archived initiatives can be restored; deleted ones cannot.
