A product sits within a portfolio and contains a set of related initiatives. Products follow the same structural pattern as portfolios (Overview, Details, Access, and Initiatives) but are scoped to that specific product.

The Details tab allows you to update your product’s display name and description.

Creating a product

Navigate to any Portfolio page and select the Products tab

Click "+ Add a new product"

This button appears in the top-right of the Products tab.

Enter the Portfolio Name and an optional Description

Click Create to save.
Required role
Only Super Admin, Admin, and Portfolio Contributor may create or delete products.
You can also create a product using the overflow menu in any Portfolio level of the tree in the sidebar.

Access

The Access tab on any product page controls which users have access to that product and all its nested initiatives. Users added here gain implicit access and permissions to all items within the product. Access can be managed by Super Admin, Admin, Portfolio Contributor, and Product Contributor. Note that users who already have implicit access via their system role (e.g., Super Admin) cannot be removed from the access list.
