An initiative is an individual business case. It contains all the details required to evaluate financial value, including attributes, benefits, costs, actuals, and comments, and can be submitted through an approval workflow to become active.

Creating an initiative

Click ”+ Add a new initiative”

Complete the New Initiative form

Fill in the Name, select the parent Portfolio and Product, choose a Strategic Theme, set the Start Month, and select a Risk Level(Low, Medium, or High).

Click “Create Initiative”

The initiative is created in Draft status. You may now add details, benefits, and costs before submitting for approval.
